1.3 - A wedding, a Grim Reaper, and a baby...

Fall is here!

Which means costumes, pie eating contests,

and pumpkin carving!  Fall is Vanessa's favorite time of year, spring being a close second. Although she could do without all the rain.

Vanessa notices some very strange lights in the sky, she's never seen anything like them before. She follows them all the way across town to a park, where she fnds a Unicorn!

It is beautiful but, Vanessa was only able to watch it for a few minutes before it disappears in a flash of light.

The next day Vanessa writes Jules a very passionate love letter and then invites him out on a date to the fanciest club in town.

She is always happy to see him.

Vanessa then asks Jules if he wants to move in with her. And since Jules is currently still living with his parents, his four brothers and sisters, and their kids, he is more than happy to accept.

Jules brings 3,000 simoleons with him when he moves in. It isn't much but, it gives them enough money to do a little remodeling to make the house a better fit for the two of them. Finally, a bedroom!

It's getting bigger but, it's still quite small.

Jules promptly gets a makeover and wardrobe change. You know, new house new look ;)

He starts studying up on his alchemy skills because, he dreams about eventually being an alchemy artisan. Jules is also a witch. (Sorry, I forgot to mention that before.)

A good bit of time has passed, winter has come and Vanessa's birthday is less than a week away. Both her and Jules now have jobs. Vanessa got a job in professional sports and Jules is working part time as a spa specialist, he spends most days at the local sundries and elixir shop researching different elixirs.  But, despite being pretty busy they make sure to spend most of their time off together. Jules really likes wintertime.

All of Vanessa's working out is paying off, she has one killer arm.

After a little decorating, they are really starting to feel the holiday spirit. Jules lures Vanessa under some mistletoe for a kiss.

They build an igloo

and then try to melt the igloo.

By then it was time for Jules' bachelor party. Even though most of the guests are Jules' family, that doesn't stop everyone from getting a little wild.

Jules is really living it up on his last unmarried night. While Vanessa is still trying to win over her future mother-in-law.

The next day is their wedding, that evening they head out to La Shove beach (ha La Push) and tie the knot in ankle deep snow with a beautiful ocean view.

 Awww... how romantic?!

They enjoy their wedding cake at home, just the two of them.

Afterwards, Jules starts getting little frisky. (Looks like somebody is getting wedding dress sex :o)

What a magical wedding night!

The next day Jules surprises Vanessa after work with flowers.

As they are heading to bed, Vanessa finds out that she is pregnant. She hadn't had any morning sickness so, it comes as bit of a surprise but, its a happy one.

Vanessa is out in the snow barefoot and pregnant trying to shoo away this paparazzi that has been peeping in her window all night. Now she has started a nasty rumor that Vanessa has been woohooing with an occult. Which in all fairness is true but, they are married and this woman (who is also a witch) has no business spying on them. Once, Jules and Vanessa had become famous (against their will) they hung blinds to try and keep prying eyes out. But, that didn't stop the rumors. Vanessa eventually decides to sue for slander, she was just going to let the rumor go because it really hadn't bothered her too much but, once people started treating her rudely throughout the town she decided it was time. Vanessa won the case and received almost 2,000 simoleons, minus lawyer fees. 

Jules really likes snowboarding and he is quite good at it.

Today Jules got called out to do a commercial for a new cologne. They loved his look and personality and compensated him 5,000 simoleons. He was ecstatic! He rushed home to cook Vanessa a nice dinner and tell her the good news.

With their recent inflow of cash Vanessa and Jules decide its time to build a baby room. They figure the best way is to go ahead and build their permanent house since the house that Vanessa had originally started in was only meant to be temporary. They will continue to add to this house when they have the money but for now it's perfect.

New house all decorated for the holidays.

The house may be new but, everything in it has been reused from the old house so, the stresses of all the old, worn out appliances and fixtures are still there. Vanessa is really letting the stress get to her in the last days of her pregnancy. 

So it is a full moon and this Chevy Chase zombie pops up in their yard. Apparently he has a crush on Vanessa

Then he proceeds to die on the front porch. Now the porch is super crowded with one zombie, one ghost, one paparazzi, and Jules (who ran out to mourn the man he had never even met.) Wait, what is that sound?

Yes, this is happening. Vanessa is going into labor right here in the middle of all of this. Is the first thing her new baby is going to see?!? A ghost and the Grim Reaper??!?!

Luckily, Vanessa's birth is taking quite a long time so the Grim reaper has time to collect his soul and leave. Thank goodness!

 The look of panic on Vanessa's face is priceless.

Jules has no clue what to do, he wants to take Vanessa to the hospital but, she is determined to have this baby at home.

 Oh no! What's happening??!?! The baby is coming!! (dat face..)

He's here! Their brand new baby boy! Just what Jules had wished for!

Vanessa wanted to give him a J name like his father. Welcome to the world Jamie Collins, this crazy little world.

1.2 - Looking up

After Vanessa's embarrassing night at the bar, she is happy to find the next morning is much brighter.





Pip calls Vanessa first thing in the morning and after a little chatting she invites him out to the summer festival.












They spend the day chatting and have one very long water balloon fight. By the end of the day Vanessa and Pip have become best friends. Vanessa still really likes Pip and she is pretty sure he likes her too but, she just can't bring herself to break up his marriage.










She decides that she is going to try the hotdog eating contest again and challenges Pip.









Vanessa doesn't win but she manages to beat Pip. And not throw up this time! But, it is late and she has had a wonderful day so, before anything goes wrong she calls it a night.








This little guy appeared at the house a couple days ago and after he appears in the living room and turns on the TV, Vanessa decides he is getting a little creepy and she needs to sell him. He brings in a pretty penny of almost a thousand simoleons.









It's time for Vanessa to upgrade to this century so, she buys a computer, which also means she needs to expand her house a bit.









After such a wonderful day out with Pip yesterday, Vanessa decides to use the day for herself. She does a little bit of reading in bed.









Then she decides to post a dating profile online and check out the options. Between David (the first man she met at the pool, who was married) and Pappy, the options were not looking so great.









Since her online options don't strike her interest she heads out to the gym. She runs into Pip, which would have been great, if he hadn't been accompanied by his wife. Vanessa isn't trying to start a relationship with Pip but, she can't help the way she feels so she just tries to keep her head down.









But, her nerves (and inexperience) have left her clumsy. With Pip's wife Dahlia watching her she doesn't get much of a workout in before she is ready to leave. She decides to head over to the local pool.










As soon as she gets there she notices someone in the computer room and goes in to greet him. They are instantly attracted to one another. She learns his name is Jules.











They talk for a while and learn that they are both Libras and that Jules is single. Vanessa is just hoping he doesn't have commitment issues... ugh.










After some well received flirting...










and one amazing massage...








Vanessa invites Jules back to her house for a little alone time.








It doesn't take long before Vanessa has worked up enough courage to make her move. She lunges forward to give Jules one very awkward kiss.








But, despite the awkwardness Jules really liked it and decides he wants some more. ;)









After their hot and steamy make out session, Vanessa wants to make it official. She just hopes he is ready to make a commitment too. She asks if he wants to go steady and he happily agrees.










Vanessa spends the next morning chatting with Jules online. And after a little while she invites him over to hang out.









They cuddle on the couch and watch a little TV....but, they mostly kept their eyes on each other.











Vanessa decides its time to make some dinner so Jules spends a little time playing video games. Well, until he manages to break the computer but, what did he expect from such an outdated computer.











After a delicious dinner of PB&J's Vanessa and Jules can't seem to get enough of each other. (I didn't know peanut butter was an aphrodisiac...) They make out in the kitchen...








then they slowly start to head towards the bed until...








it happens! They woohoo for the first time!









Afterwards, Jules is feeling pretty good about himself. Walking home would just not be good enough, not after a woohoo like that with the beautiful Vanessa. So, he struts home with his head held high.










Even through the rain.








The next day Vanessa works out all morning to get herself pumped up for that evening. She has big plans for the night and once she has cleaned up a bit, she is going to invite Jules over.










Vanessa spends hours with Jules just flirting, holding hands, and gazing into each others eyes. Then when she has worked up enough courage, she is ready to do what she has been planning all day. She starts off, "Jules, I know we haven't known each other very long but, we have this connection that I have never felt before.... "










"... Will you marry me?" Once Vanessa pulls out the ring Jules jumps for joy! "Of course!" He screams.










Vanessa couldn't be happier! She had been so nervous to ask but, it turned out great.









Vanessa and Jules spend the rest of the evening in bed *cough cough* cuddling and thinking about their upcoming wedding. Vanessa is happy that things are finally starting to go right for her.
