1.1 - Any takers?

This is Vanessa Collins, she just moved into the strange town of Moonlight Falls. She is hoping to soon find a man that she can settle down and start a family with.

The largest lot in Moonlight Falls is a 50x50 so, Vanessa has enough money left over to build herself a quaint little house with all the essentials.

It barely makes a dent on her huge plot of land.

Once she is settled in, she decides to head out to the local pool to see if she can make some friends.

It doesn't take long before she meets David. They hit is off immediately and are really enjoying each others company. So, Vanessa decides to try and move forward with this relationship and asks David if he is single.

He promptly informs Vanessa that he is in fact married. But, she wants someone who will be faithful and David clearly has other intentions. So she moves on.

After that she spends a good deal of time splashing and playing in the pool with a couple of new people.

She is really starting to like this guy in the pool but she hasn't had a chance to officially learn his name so, after a long breath holding contest (which she lost), she decided that it was time to strike up a conversation.

His name is Gladsten Farmwell and apparently he has a thing for trees. Maybe Mr. Farmwell has a farm?

Vanessa decides she isn't going to waste any time and cuts right to the chase. She asks him if he is single.

He is! So, she strikes up a conversation and after a little chatting they really start to hit if off.

So she asks, "Baby, whats your sign?" Well, hopefully she didn't ask quite like that.... Luckily, it's a match!

And the flirting begins.

But, its getting late and Vanessa is getting hungry so she heads home for the evening. She finishes off the night with a nice charisma book in hopes that it will help her flirting skills tomorrow.

The next day she calls Gladsten and asks if they can meet up at the Summer Festival. He agrees and soon finds his way over to Vanessa who had just won a cute stuffed animal from the claw machine.

But, when she tries to give the stuffed toy to Gladsten as a gift he gets angry and runs off without even giving her a chance to apologize. He claims that someone in the group has a problem and he need to get out of there. (I'm pretty sure its him...)

But, Vanessa doesn't let Gladsten's weirdness ruin her day and she spends most of the evening brushing up on her soccer skills.

Then she takes part in her first hotdog eating contest but, apparently she was matched up with some former champions.

She looses the contest and then....

looses her lunch. So she calls it a night.

The next day she calls Gladsten and invites him over. Despite their argument yesterday he quickly comes over.

Vanessa's charisma studying has really paid off, everything is going so smooth.

She decides to make the move and ask Gladsten if he wants to go steady. But, of course, Gladsten has commitment issues and turns Vanessa down. (No wonder he was single!) She doesn't let it get to her though and tries to see if she can get anything out of the time she spent on him.

So she asks him if she can borrow a little bit of money, which makes Gladsten pretty angry. Maybe he feels used but, he should have told Vanessa sooner why he was single.

But, all is well, after dinner Vanessa asks if they can just be friends because she doesn't need any romantic interests hanging around when she meets the next guy. You never know how things might go. Gladsten happily agrees.

He even gets her a bouquet of flowers before he decides it is time to head home.

Since she had already been to the pool to check out her options today she decides to head to the public library. But, it turns out to be a bust, apparently only women and ghosts like to hang out at the library.

So Vanessa decides to get dressed up and go out to the bar. Try and meet a man the old fashion way.

She talks to a few people, And although this celebrity is too good to talk to her, he isn't too good to check out her boobs. (Seriously, my face is up here!) But, somebody across the bar catches her eye.

His name is Pip and they have an instant connection.

After just a few minutes of talking they have already become friends.

Vanessa asks Pip if he is single but, sadly he is married. Vanessa decides that even though they won't become romantically involved, she became friends with him so quickly, it would be a waste to walk away. Everyone needs a best friend.

So they spend the rest of the night playing chess and discussing music until the bar closes. But, Vanessa isn't ready to head home just yet.

She meets a werewolf in the parking lot and strikes up a conversation. Apparently the night has left her feeling down and she wants to see if maybe she can end it on a positive note. With a kiss perhaps? But, clearly she had a few too many drinks at the bar and it left her not thinking straight so, she jumps right in there, only to be rejected.

Go Home Vanessa, you're drunk.

  1. Poor Vanessa, she's just not having any luck so far. Isn't that always the case, the good ones are already married.
